35 Weeks Update

I went to the Dr. yesterday for my 35 week check up. Since I was measuring the same as I was the week before he decided to do an ultrasound to check the size of the baby and amount of fluid. She weighs about 5 1/2 lbs right now and everything looked normal. Blake and I enjoyed getting to see her and she looked precious with her chubby cheeks!!! We are getting very excited to see her in just a few short weeks. I should be on bed rest for about another week and then resume normal activities as I feel able and wait until she decides to make her appearance.

First Day of School

Zane started First Grade today! He was so excited about going back to school and loves his new school and new classroom! We hope that he has a Great First Day! I have posted some pictures of how his morning went. He is a big boy now so he wasn't too excited about me taking pictures of him in his new class. As you can tell, I didn't follow Dr.'s orders today...I got out of the house so I could walk my baby to his classroom this morning. I just couldn't stay home and miss out on that! We Love You Zane!!!

34 Weeks & Counting

I had my weekly dr.'s visit today and he is pleased with how the bed rest is going for me. I had a pretty good week last week, with fewer contractions than I have had in the past weeks. The dr. told me that he would like me to have 2 more weeks of bed rest and then I will be able to go back to normal activities. We still have a lot to do to get ready for this baby, so I will continue to get plenty of rest and hope that we can make it a few more weeks. Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers!

Bed Rest

As some of you know, my dr. has placed me on bed rest indefinitely. I have been experiencing early contractions and he wants me to get plenty of rest. We are very grateful for family and friends who have been a great help to us during this time, and also for all the thoughts and prayers! Blake has been SuperDad at home and he is doing a GREAT job! We have so much to do before the baby comes, but I am confident that it will all work out.

I wanted to share some pictures from a couple nights ago. Blake was watching the boys and he let Kade have some fun by emptying the basket with all the papers waiting to be shred. I couldn't help but laugh. Zane joined in the fun and helped daddy clean up the mess.
